Read: Blackberry’s share of U.S. mobile market plummets The workers were in product development and wireless technology. These layoffs are part of the firm’s plan to cut 40% of its workforce. It plans on going through with all the firings by May 2014, reports CBC. The phone maker will announce its recent earnings March 28. Read more here.
