British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario will be Canada’s growth leaders in 2016, says the Conference Board of Canada in its latest Provincial Outlook report.

It adds, “The B.C. economy will lead the country by a wide margin over the near term. [Meanwhile], Alberta and Saskatchewan will continue to feel the pain from the difficulties in the energy sector, [but] neither will be in recession in 2016.”

Even better, the national economy has been picking up speed and that’s expected to carry through into next year, says the report.
