Who says taxes can’t be fun?
A group of tax professionals and pun enthusiasts have started the Twitter hashtag #toptaxmovies. They’re re-imagining the names and plots of famous films, turning classics into tax-centric tales.

Suggestions have included “The Phantom Revenue of the Opera” and “Auditor Dogs.”
For the Hitchcock fan, there’s “Rear Window Energy Credit,” and for the Hemmingway lover, there’s “A Farewell to Arm’s-length Transactions.”
The films Double Indemnity (1944) and You Can’t Take it With You (1938) work without having to tweak their titles.
The hashtag was started yesterday night by @JoeTaxpayerblog, who blogs about finance at joetaxpayer.com.
